The TARDIS floats around in a black area with no light or anything of the like. Fade inside the TARDIS with the Doctor flipping some controls.
Rose: What are you doing?
Doctor: I'm stabilizing the atmospheric actuators. Going to need air in order to see this.
Rose: See what?
Doctor: You'll see.
Doctor: This.
The Doctor walks over to the doors of the TARDIS and opens them. Rose is unimpressed.
Rose: There's nothing to see, it's just black.
Doctor: Not for long. Just wait a moment, should be happening anytime now. Here you're gonna need these.
The Doctor hands her a pair of sunglasses. He puts on a pair of his own.
Rose: What am I going to need sunglasses for? There's no light for miles.
Doctor: For now, but in moments the world will be bursting with light and energy. For the first time actually.
Rose: (surprised) Wait...we're not?
Doctor: Bang... Let there be light.
Rose smiles before putting on the sunglasses. All of a sudden a big blast of light erupts from the darkness, the Doctor was prepared for it, Rose was not. She falls backwards
Rose: (Surprised scream)
Hitting her head on something, she looks unconscious. The Doctor notices her a second later and runs to her, closing the TARDIS doors.
Doctor: Rose, Rose!
The Doctor looks terrified he might have hurt Rose. He scans her head with the sonic screwdriver.
Doctor: Should be just a mild concussion.
The Doctor tries to wake her up.
Doctor: Rose it's the Doctor, you gotta wake up.
Rose: (groans) Doctor Who?
The Doctor sighs with relief.
Doctor: Thank goodness you're alright. The hit might have caused a bit of memory loss. Rose do you remember me?
Rose looks around and starts to remember
Rose: (sigh) Next time when you show me the creation of the universe, can you give me a bit of warning?
They both laugh a bit as the Doctor gets Rose up. Then Rose realizes something.
Rose: Wait, why weren't you surprised?
Doctor: I've seen it before.
Rose: How?
Doctor: A big black void, surely it has room for a couple Doctors.
The two chuckle a bit.
Doctor: Come on, wait until you tell your mother how you spent your afternoon.
The TARDIS begins to take off.
